<\/span>Semimaraton Iasi<\/span><\/a> is the largest running event in the Northeast of Romania, drawing in runners from all over the country for a vibrant, history-filled race. Whether participants run individually, with friends, or as part of a team-building experience, the event offers a unique course peppered with landmarks rich in tradition and stories. Subsign, as a proud partner and sponsor, not only helped amplify the event\u2019s presence through a website overhaul but also participated in the event itself, embodying the spirit of collaboration and community.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you already might know, today, even the most well-established community events must have a robust online presence. For Semimaraton, their outdated website was no longer serving the event or its community effectively. The site\u2019s performance was lagging, its design looked antiquated, and its user experience was frustrating at best. The need for a comprehensive digital revamp was clear, and that\u2019s where we came in. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our goal was to not only redesign the website but also enhance its functionality, improve user experience, and ultimately support Semimaraton\u2019s mission of bringing people together, whether they\u2019re running, spectating, or supporting the cause.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our first task was to design a new website that matched the event’s growing popularity and the vibrant energy of its participants. One of the main challenges was organizing the existing content\u2014like registration details, race routes, and event updates\u2014in a way that made it easier to navigate, especially since users had struggled to find important information on the old site. We also needed to ensure the site was user-friendly for a diverse audience spanning various age groups.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the old site had security vulnerabilities, particularly concerning the protection of registration data. Addressing these issues and enhancing security became a key part of our mission.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
