We took part in the user experience development and visual design for the first iteration for the app, back in 2013. It was important for them to lay a solid foundation in order to build upon in future versions. The look for visual elements we interface was inspired by the Google-Metro trend, even before the flat trend emerged, so I guess you could call us trendsetters when it comes to health apps on iOS.
The tracking system built in app and task achievement earned you rewards that you could retrieve in the real world or doctor discounts, bringing a gamification approach to the daily healthcare awareness of each user.
The end result was very well received, as it lead to great results for them, in terms of users and downloads.
